In this two-part virtual workshop, taught by artist Jaqueline Cedar, create paintings inspired by works on view in the exhibition Afterlives: Recovering the Lost Stories of Looted Art. Participants will learn painting techniques, conceptualize ideas, and think creatively about how to develop narratives in their own work after exploring stories and imagery in the exhibition. This class will take place on Zoom and includes live instruction.

A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and Wi-Fi and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date.

Please note that this is a two-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions on December 1 & 8.
